This type of storytelling is called kamishibai and comes from Japan. Using a frame is the traditional method used by the kamishibai man in Japan. My frame has been specially designed and made for us by my Dad, Sandy Duncan on the Sidlaw Hills in Scotland. Our frames are made from pine and PVA wood glue. This is not a toy and it is not recommended to be used by children under the age of fourteen years.
