Join Daphne the dog on her daily walk with her owner Stan who is always on the phone. Poor Daphne is lonely and sad until one day she spots the opportunity to go off on an adventure. Will Daphne return? Will Stan notice?

Daphne and Stan is my first original children's story which I hope you enjoy. I know you will fall in love with Daphne who was created by Samantha Eynon. Sam is an illustrator and small business owner too.

Handmade on the Sidlaw Hills, our frame allows you to create your own paper theatre. You can place the frame on a table, stool or on the floor next to you, freeing your hands which allows you to sign, use props or musical instruments.

This kind of storytelling comes from Japan. Using a frame is the traditional method used by the Kamishibai man in Japan. My frame has been specially designed and handmade by my dad, Sandy. The frame is made from pine and PVA wood glue here in the UK.

Each story can be stored in its own beautifully designed container. Every story comes with a dedicated Planning Ideas Pack which is bursting full of activity ideas linked to the story. After you have enjoyed the story why not make a chart of all the different types of dogs you know or own if you are in a nursery or school.

My books are 38 x 27 cm.

Daphne and Stan contains 12 cards, which consist of one front cover and 11 pages. Printed in the UK by TS Print Group Ltd.
